A fortieth, a golden anniversary, an engagement, or a dinner for twelve that deserves more than a bottle on the side. We build a proper bar in your house, your garden or your hired hall and run it the way the best rooms in London are run.
Most private parties we pour for are between 30 and 150 guests. Smaller than that and we scale the bar down to a single station and one of us; bigger and we bring a second bar and a crew.
The bar, the brothers, and everything behind it
What is included.
The bar itself arrives with us: a timber front, a back bar lit for the evening, and dressing chosen to suit the room. Behind it stand both brothers for parties up to about 80, with an extra bartender for every 50 guests after that. Glassware comes with us too, boxed, polished and collected dirty at the end. Ice is ours to worry about: block and cubed for the whole night, with a cold store so the last drink is as cold as the first. Public liability insurance and a temporary events notice if the venue needs one.
From the first call to the last glass
How it runs.
We start with a short call about the people, the place and the drinks you already love. From that we write a menu of five or six cocktails, one of them named for the occasion, and send it over with a zero-proof pair so nobody is left holding a lemonade. On the day we arrive two hours before guests to build, chill and prep: a welcome serve as people arrive, a full bar for four or five hours, then a quiet strike once the last guest has a drink in hand. The garden looks like it did when we got there.
